You'll stand before Mt. Rushmore's world famous presidential faces and witness the awe-inspiring Crazy Horse Memorial, on its way to becoming the world's largest sculpture. In addition to these immense displays of freedom carved in living rock, you'll discover the natural beauty of the BLACK HILLS on the Wildlife Loop Road in Custer State Park, and you'll visit the historic WILD WEST town of Deadwood.

ITINERARY:

Day 1/ Friday/ June 22, 2012
Departure from RTA Travel Office (New York/New Jersey) in a spacious, video-equipped motorcoach, enjoying the great scenery along the way. Then, settle into a comfortable en route hotel for a goodnight rest. (Lunch)

Day 2/ Saturday, June 23
After breakfast, we'll depart for the Toledo Museum of Art internationally known. The museum contains major collections of glass art of 19th and 20th century European and American Art, as well as small but distinguished Renaissance, Greek and Roman and Japanese collections. Continue our drive and enjoy a dinner stop before checking into our en-route hotel. (Continental Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 3/ Sunday/ June 24, 2012
Today's stop - The Amana Heritage Museum, comprised of three 19th century buildings set in spacious grounds; The Noe House, built in 1864 was originally a communal kitchen and later a Doctor's residence; The School House, built in 1870; The Original Wash House/Woodshed, an integral part of communal Amana: house wine making and gardening display. Then on to driving to our en-route hotel after a relaxing dinner.(Continental Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 4/ Monday/ June 25, 2012
Visit to the spectacular Badlands National Park. 244,000 acres of sharply eroded battles, pinnacles, and spires blended with the largest protected mixed grass prairie in the United States. Then on to the amazing Wall Drug Store - America's favorite road attraction that has been entertaining and educating the traveling public since 1931. Wall drug has evolved into 76,000 square-food wonderland of free attractions. Continue our drive heading to South Dakota (Continental Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 5/ Tuesday/ June 26, 2012
Our tour highlight: MT. RUSHMORE, starting with the Borglum Historical Center, to learn Gutzon Borglum story - the sculptor of Mt. Rushmore. Then on to the Mt. Rushmore National Memorial, America's 'Shrine of Democracy' and a symbol of the nation's rich history, rugged determination and love of freedom. In the afternoon, tour of the Wildlife Loop Road at Custer State Park. The road takes us through the rolling prairies and pine covered hills, offering one of the best spots in the region to view native animals in the wild. Tonight enjoy dinner with entertainment (Continental Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 6/ Wednesday/ June 27, 2012
Visit to the High Plains Western Heritage Center - a Five-State regional Museum founded to honor the old west pioneers of North and South Dakota, Montana and Nebraska. Later head for Deadwood, South Dakota - former home of Wild bill Hickok and Calamity Jane, now the location of gaming establishments and beautifully restored historic hotel and saloons. try your luck in some gaming excitement before dinner. Day 7/ Thursday/ June 28, 2012
Today our tour is to the unique Journey Museum, which tells the complete history of the mystical Black Hills. Then, prepare for an inspirational sight of the magnificent and spectacular Crazy Horse Memorial, destined to be the world's largest memorial upon completion. Learn about the sculptor, Korczak Ziolkowski (died in 1982 at 74), his vision and loving family (wife Ruth and 10 children) who continue his life work. Tonight enjoy dinner and entertainment.(Continental Breakfast/Dinner)

Today's visit - the famous 'World's Only Corn Palace', Mitchell, South Dakota - home to the agricultural showplace of the world. Then, continue driving to our en-route hotel for the night. (Continental Breakfast/Dinner)

Our visit to Living History Farms presents the changes that have occurred in farming methods, concepts and technology, and interpret the significance of those changes both in historical and modern life. Continue our drive on our en-route hotel for the night. (Continental Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 10/ Sunday July 1, 2012
Today's visit: University of Notre Dame. Eck Visitor Center offers not only a meeting and resting place for visitors, but also provides an intriguing look at the University's history. Continue our drive on our en-route hotel for the night (Continental Breakfast)

Day 11/ Monday/ July 2, 2012
After breakfast, we depart for home... time to chat with old and new found friends and plan your next trip with our RTA KA-FAMILIA and KA-PUSO (Continental Breakfast)

Cancellations:
Deposits are refundable up to 90 days prior to departure with a cancellation charge of US$50.00 per person only. Cancellations made within 90 days are non-refundable as well.
