Big Fun in the Big Easy

ITINERARY:
Day 1, Saturday, July 31
Departure from RTA Travel (New York/New Jersey) offices in a spacious video-equipped motorcoach, enjoying the great scenery along the way. Then, settle into a comfortable en route hotel for a goodnight rest. (Lunch)

Day 2, Sunday, August 1
After continental breakfast, we'll depart for the Concord Mills, a new concept in "shoppertainment" with restaurants and stores including Bass Pro. Later in the day, enjoy dinner and check into our enroute hotel. (Continental Breakfast/ Dinner)

Day 3, Monday, August 2
After enjoying our continental breakfast, we will continue our drive towards New Orleans. Dinner before checking in at our four night stay hotel. (Continental Breakfast/Dinner)
Day 4, Tuesday, August 3
New Orleans is a creation of the mighty Mississippi. Mysterious and complex, sensual yet spiritual, it overwhelms and beckons simultaneously. To understand its rhythm requires more than a saunter down Bourbon Street. Journeying upon a cafe-a-lait colored waterways surrounding the Crescent City will awaken the visitor to the Big Easy's character like nothing
else can. Today we will experience a true "Louisiana Bayou" on a Swamp Tour and the amazing sights and sounds of New Orleans on a guided tour. This evening, we will dine at a local New Orleans restaurant. (Continental Breakfast/Dinner)
Day 5, Wednesday, August 4
Tour of a historic "Lousiana Plantation". Enjoy free afternoon time to see and learn more about the many New Orleans' attractions. Stop to shop and/or stop to hear great music or just see the sights in the historic French Quarter. This evening, we will dine at a local New Orleans restaurant. (Continental Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 6, Thursday, August 5
Today enjoy as much gaming as you please at the fabolous Harrah's Casino. We will wind down the day with a wonderful Riverboat Cruise on the Mississipi River before enjoying a Dinner Party in New Orleans. (Continental Breakfast/Dinner)
Day 7, Friday, August 6
Enjoy a continental breakfast before leaving for the Battleship USS Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. Experience the awe and power of America's Navy while walking along the decks of a battleship that received nine World War II Battle Stars. After a relaxing dinner, we will check into our en route hotel. (Continental Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 8, Saturday, August 7
Today we visit the Charlotte Museum of History. The Charlotte Museum of History and Hezekiah Alexander Homesite, comprise multiple venues on an eight acre wooded campus and is home to the American Freedom Bell. Relax in our en route hotel. (Continental Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 9, Sunday, August 8
Departure for home sweet home... A perfect time to chat with friends about all the fun things we've done, the amazing sights we've seen and where your next RTA ka-FAMILIA trip be! (Continental Breakfast/Lunch)

Tour Cost: US $989.00

Incredible Price includes:
- Air-conditioned motorcoach
- Hotel Accomodations (4 consecutive nights in New Orleans)

Reservations and Payments:
Reservations can only be confirmed upon receipt of US$300.00 deposit per person. Final payment is due 100 days prior to departure date.

Cancellations:
Deposits are refundable up to 100 days prior to departure with a cancellation charge of US$50.00 only. Cancelallations made within the 100 days are non-refundable and no-shows are non-refundable as well.

Insurance:
Trip cancellation insurance and medical coverage is available. We very strongly recommend it.

Not included:
Tippings (driver, tour guides, waiters), insurance, optional sightseeing, items of personal nature such as food and beverage not on the regular d'hote menu and laundry.
